Everyday is a birthday according to Lily. She is obsessed with birthday parties. She spends a lot of time planning her party, pretending she's at a birthday, telling us it's our birthday, bringing us birthday presents/cakes/surprises and singing "Happy Birthday". She is certain she will have a surprise party. Here is a snippet of a common converstaion Lily will have [all said in one breath]
"I'm going to have a birthday party. There's going to birthday cake and party hats and guestas(?? I think she means pinata) and birthday cake and all my cousins will be there and all my friends will come and mommy and daddy and grandpa and grandpa (aka grandma) be there and Daisy can come too and everyone will bring me presents and shout SUPRISE! You wanna come to my party. Yep, you can come. It's going to be so fun and make me so happy."
..... pause ...... [repeat]
thats funny she calls her g'parents grandpa and grandpa, my girls both did that too! I especially loved it when they said it to someone other than me, just for the awkward looks people get on their faces.~Kirstin
