That was the time it took for me to complete my first 5k run. I am pretty darn happy with myself. An okay time for a first timer, but more importantly, I ran the whole 5k without stopping once. The run itself was great. I did struggle a little bit due to the heat. Up until this point I really haven't ran in much heat since I run in the evenings. The hot sun was a new one for me. But I finished. Now I am moving on to the "Bridge To 10K" program. Signing up for the "Run Like A Duck" run in Lumsden in September. Keep moving forward!
I have to say this weekend has been great. I have felt awesome, the weather was amazing, I completed a goal and treated myself to a new outfit and hair and highlights. I rarely do anything for myself so it felt exceptionally nice. The icing on the cake was when I went to try on a cute pair of capris and asked the girl for a size 10. She looked at me like I was crazy and said "Ummmm, I'm going to give you a 10 and 6. I highly doubt you are a 10." To my utter disbelief the 6 fit perfect!! Last time I bought pants they were a 10/12 depending on the style. Best. Feeling. Ever. 
Yesterday we had a wedding Moose Jaw. Of course I failed at getting any pictures, as usual, but trust me when I say it was pretty. The cutest paper pinwheels that made me so happy. Their favors were kazoos and crayons! It was by far the most family/kid friendly wedding I have ever been to. I don't think you read my blog Sims, but big congrats again! Now to get Lily to stop "kazoo'ing" Twinkle Twinkle. Even Daisy figured out how to get noise out of it :)

Today after the race we went for breakfast at Lily's favorite place, Smitty's of course. Then afternoon naps were had by all. {sigh} . We finished off the day with a run through the sprinkler, popsicles and drawing with sidewalk chalk. My meal plan for the week is complete and I am seriously on a life high ♥
