This week I think I finally feel the February funk making its way south, or would it be north? The kids played well, listened well, we did some crafting and got outside to enjoy the March sunshine that has been shining upon us! Some of my motivation is creeping back (not quite a enough to tackle the tax receipts yet, but the thought is there). I've been making plans with friends, crocheting, baking and truly enjoying more time with the girls.

Spring is almost here, time to shake the cobwebs and renew the spirit!
Speaking of crochet - I made the most adorable hats the past couple days!
This one is for my neighbor's new babe.
And I made these ones for the girls.
I've been really trying to make more time for special moments with the girls. Let the dishes wait.
Miss Daisy is my little spirited child. One has to ride her moods like a roller coaster blind folded. You have no idea idea what to expect and once you think you have it under control there is a wicked turn. I'm starting to embrace this and know that her spit fire determination will serve her well in life.
Gawd I love that kid.
Miss Lily has now slept in her bed through the night, ALONE twice in a week!! This is a record. The first time she got a My Little Pony train as a reward (part of a bargaining agreement she made with daddy and was quick to remind us in the morning). This time she gets to go to her first theatre movie! Taking her to "The Lorax". I think I'm more excited.
Me: "Hey Lil, since you were a big girl and slept in your bed all night where do you get to go?"
Lily: "Disneyland!"
Me: "Ummmm, maybe just a movie."
Lily: "yay!"
Thank goodness she's easily amused.
Miss Lil's favorite new line.
"Shut the front door and get out of town."
My little ham.
